Cossette’s MCBD scoops top accolade at BTAA ↑
Cossette owned MCBD scooped the top awards at the British Television Advertising Awards winning the Grand Prix, Thinkbox Award for Best Television Commercial of the Year, Gold for Best commercial over 60 seconds, a further Gold for best commercial over 90 seconds and a final Gold for Best Bread & Cereal commercial. The ad also won a silver for best adaptation for cinema.
The commercial features a new Hovis boy as he travels through time charting Britain's turbulent history over the past 122 years - the same age as Hovis - including the first world war, the suffragette movement, the first motor car, the second world war, the Queen's coronation in 1953, the swinging 60s, England winning the 1966 World Cup, the 1980s miners' strike and the millennium celebrations.
